In the present petition, challenge is to the impugned order dated 02.01.2023 (Annexure P-1) passed by Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench Chandigarh (in short, 'the Tribunal') by which, respondent has been allowed the benefit of pensionary benefits in Group 'Y' w.e.f. 01.01.1996 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further with liberty to file a fresh one on the same cause of action with better particulars in case the same is needed.
