CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S. MADAAN

Present:

None for the petitioners.

Mr. Rana Harjasdeep Singh, DAG, Punjab.

*** Mr. Devinder Singh, Advocate has appeared on behalf of respondent No. 2 by filing vakalatnama, which be taken on record. He states that there are no chances of compromise.

Vide order dated 17.9.2018, the Court had already observed that there is no case for exercise of inherent jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of the F.I.R. inasmuch as there are specific allegations levelled in the F.I.R. to the effect that petitioner No. 1 had told her husband, who was in Italy, that she had given birth to a newly born baby girl, who had died, whereas the said baby girl was alive and had been given to real brother and sister-in-law of petitioner No. 1.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Under the circumstances, the petition stands dismissed. (H.S.
