Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No.40 dated 31.08.2015 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of the IPC at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Amritsar.

Though an adjournment slip has been filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, however, learned State counsel has placed on record the judgment passed by the learned trial Court dated 09.02.2024 and submitted that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous, as the accused acquitted of the charges framed against him.

In the circumstances, the petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous.
