RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Matter has been taken up through video conferencing via Webex facility in the light of the Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions.

Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for recording of the evidence of the petitioner and her daughter in case FIR No.764 dated 21.10.2020 under Sections 342, 366-A, 506, 120-B IPC, Section 6 of POCSO Act 2012 and Sections 9 and 10 of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, registered at Police Station Thanesar, District Kurukshetra.

Contention raised by learned counsel for the petitioner is that for the last three dates the prosecutrix makes herself present in the Court, however, her statement could not be recorded. He further contends that in the gravity of the offence the victim is facing, it would be in the interest of justice that statement of the victim as well as of her mother be recorded at MEENU 2021.07.06 17:15 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

CRM-M-24886-2021 the earliest. He further submits that the case is fixed for recording the evidence on 09.07.2021.

This Court hopes that on 09.07.2021, which is the date fixed before the trial Court, the statements of the witnesses would be recorded unless the trial Court has some unavoidable circumstances. Disposed of.
