This is a petition for quashing of proceedings under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. The notice has merely been issued to the petitioners. After hearing the counsel for the petitioners, I am of the opinion that all the pleas taken up in this petition can be raised by appearing through counsel before the Court concerned. This petition is not maintainable as the law does not require personal appearance of the petitioners before the Court. Dismissed as pre-mature without prejudice to the rights of the petitioners to seek all the reliefs permissible under law by filing a detailed reply jointly or separately before the Magistrate.
