(ORAL) By means of instant petition, a writ of Certiorari has been sought for quashing of impugned order dated 18.06.2021 (Annexure P.6) passed by the Joint Director, Agriculture (inputs)-cum-Appellate Court- respondent No.3 whereby an appeal under clause 32-A of the Fertilizer (Control) Order, 1985 for re-analysis of the sample of fertilizer in question has been dismissed on the ground of delay. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contends that the shelf life of the product has already come to an end and as such the question involved in the present petition has been rendered academic only with the present petition having become infructuous insofar as any substantive relief to the petitioner is concerned.
