******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 06 dated 31.07.2014 registered for offences punishable under Sections 420/403/406/120-B of Indian Penal Code (for short 'IPC'), at Police Station NRI, District Kapurthala.

Heard.

Learned State counsel submits that co-accused, namely, Gurpal Singh @ Monty has already been allowed anticipatory bail vide order dated 14.09.2017 passed in CRM-M-23194-2017. The case of petitioner is similar to the case of co-accused, Gurpal Singh, as such, he has instructions not to oppose the bail application of petitioner. It is also submitted that challan has already been filed in the Court and petitioner may be directed to appear before the trial Court.

In view of submission of learned State counsel but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed and Jitender Kumar 2017.11.21 17:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CHANDIGARH

CRM-M-39929 of 2017 -2petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court, within two weeks and on his appearance, he shall be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond and surety bond to the satisfaction of concerned trial Court subject to the terms as settled by it.
