(ORAL) The grievance of the petitioner is that he has been wrongly taken into custody by the Sardulgarh police on 07.12.2022. Against this high-handed act, a representation dated 21.12.2022 (Annexure P-6) has been submitted along with a recording of the CCTV footage to respondents No.4 & 5 amongst others but no action has been taken thereupon till date 2.

Notice of motion to respondent No.5 only.

Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.5 and waives service.

Considering the nature of the order being passed, no reply is necessary.

The petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.5 to decide the pending representation dated 21.12.2022 (Annexure P-6) after careful consideration within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
