(ORAL) At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner very fairly concedes that the order dated 18.04.2024 (Annexure P-3), passed by the Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Panipat, vide which the application filed by the petitioner under Section 357A Cr.P.C. for grant of compensation has been disposed of, being not maintainable, is an appealable order. Thus, learned counsel submits that he may permitted to withdraw the instant petition, with liberty to take recourse to the appropriate remedy, in accordance with law.
