As per the same, the settlement has reached between the parties. Copy of the settlement/agreement has been placed on record. FAO-4214-2019, relates to the death of the daughter of the appellant-Atamjit Singh and FAO-6698-2019, relates to the death of wife of the appellant-Atamjit Singh , in a motor vehicular accident. Relating to the same, now the settlement has reached with the Insurance Company, whereby it has been agreed that the Insurance company, shall pay an amount of Sonu 2025.10.31 09:51 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

FAO-4214-2019 (O&M) & FAO-6698-2019 (O&M) Rs.5,00,000/-, and Rs.15,00,000/-, respectively, over and above the amount awarded, within a period of two months, from today onwards, by virtue of cheques in favour of the appellant.

In view of the settlement, so reached, which is also not disputed by the counsel for the respondent-Insurance Company, who is present before the court today, the present appeals are hereby accepted. However, in case of any default, with regard to the compliance of the terms, at the instance of the Insurance Company, the Insurance Company shall be liable to pay penal interest @ 6 % per annum, from the date of passing of two months' period, since settlement, till realization of the settled amount. In view of the aforesaid terms, both the appeals stand disposed of.
