**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant accreditation certificate to the petitioner under Haryana Media Accreditation (Amendment) Rules 2017.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a publisher, printer and editor of newspaper namely 'Samay ki Taqat' and is running the said newspaper since 2011 with registration No.HARHIN/2011/35910. Petitioner fulfills all the terms and conditions of accreditation as per Rule 4 of the aforesaid Rules.
Petitioner has already applied for accreditation through Information, Public Relations and Languages Department on 18.01.2021. He was asked to remove some PRINCE SAINI 2022.05.26 17:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CWP No.11579 of 2022(O&M) -2objections vide communication dated 02.02.2021. After removal of the objections, it was conveyed to the petitioner that his application is in order and shall be considered at the earliest. Despite expiry of about more than one year, needful in the context of grant of accreditation certificate has not been done. Petitioner has also sent a legal notice through his counsel on 21.02.2022 and the same is pending.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied, in case, his legal notice is ordered to be decided in accordance with law within a time bound manner.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Vivek Chauhan, Addl., A.G., Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the State. In view of facts and circumstances of the case and without meaning anything on merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to take notice of pending legal notice and decide the same in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
