Petitioner seeks action against respondents no. 3 and 4 for abducting, arresting, misbehaving, manhandling him and insulting him. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was sleeping in his house on 11.11.2015, when he was informed that some persons want to talk to him. They were police officials. Without any prior notice, he was taken to Police Station Chheharta, District Amritsar. Son of the petitioner made representations to Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar and other police officers but the petitioner was not released and later on involved in case under Sections 107 and 151 Cr.P.C. and produced before the Court, where he was discharged. The detention of the petitioner was illegal, inhuman and against all basic human rights. CRM-M-39943 of 2015 -2people at his residence in Amritsar, where he may mislead the public by giving inharmonious speech to spread hatred in society. He was intimated of the fact and DDR no. 8 dated 11.11.2015 was registered to this effect. He was arrested and proceeded under Sections 107 and 151 Cr.P.C. and produced before the Court, where in view of his ailment he was discharged. Allegations of learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner was manhandled, misbehaved and insulted call for evidence in support of his contention for which he may avail other legal remedies available to him and no direction as sought by petitioner can be issued. Keeping in view aforesaid facts, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail other legal remedies available to him under the law.
