SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondent No.2 to protect the lives and personal liberty of the petitioners and also directing respondents No.3 to 10 not to interfere in the personal lives and liberty of the petitioners. Learned State counsel would inform that representation dated 03.04.2025 (Annexure P.1) has not been received in the office of official respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to furnish a copy of the representation to learned State counsel during the course of the day. If representation is not received, the petition be treated as representation. Learned State counsel shall convey the SSP, Malerkotla that in case any representation is received from the petitioner, the same shall be looked into and decided within a period of two weeks, in accordance with law. The order so passed shall be conveyed to the petitioners within a week thereafter. Disposed of in the above terms.
