Mr. PBS Goraya, Advocate, for the petitioner Mr. J.S.Brar, AAG Punjab Fateh Deep Singh, J. (Oral) Report of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amritsar dated 12.5.2014 has been received who after recording statements of complainant Love Kumar and accused Swinder Kaur and Manjinder Pal Singh have shown his satisfaction over the compromise between the parties as an outcome of free will and voluntariness and there is nothing by way of undue influence or pressure. In the light of the satisfaction shown by the Court and in view of the fact that compromise will go a long way in resolving the personal dispute and to bring about personal harmony and in view of which the prayer made in the petition is allowed, proceedings by way of FIR No. 87 dated 2.3.2002 registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Amritsar, under sections 420, 406 and 506 IPC and all consequences arising thereof are quashed.

The petition stands allowed in those terms.
