Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, but directions be issued to the learned trial Judge to decide the application for grant of bail to the petitioner within a specified time period.

In view of above, present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, keeping in view the fact that petitioner was declared as proclaimed absconder on 15.06.2015 in case FIR No. 48 dated 09.07.2013, registered under Sections 341, 323, 148 & 149 IPC at Police Station Ajitwal, District Moga, he shall surrender before the learned trial Court within a period of one week from today and in case he moves an application for admitting him to bail, the same shall be decided by the learned trial Judge within a period of one week thereafter.
