ARUN PALLI, J. (ORAL) Office report indicates that the matter in issue is squarely covered by the order dated 12.08.2010, rendered by this Court in the case of Ranjeet Singh v. State of Punjab [RFA No. 2176 of 2003 (O&M)], vide which in the appeal arising out of the same acquisition this Court had enhanced the compensation awarded to the land owner, to Rs. 8,00,000/- per acre, while relying upon the decision of this Court in the case of Harbachan Kaur and others v. The State of Punjab (RFA No. 2322 of 1998, decided on 23.8.2006). That being so, as a necessary consequence this appeal shall have to be disposed of in the same terms.

Ordered accordingly.
