MADAAN Present:- Ms. Khushbir Kaur Bhullar, Advocate for the applicant. *** By way of filing the present application, applicant seeks transfer of application for setting aside of ex-parte judgment and decree dated 14.7.2017 passed by Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Faridabad, Haryana titled 'Jasbir Singh Vs. Kanwaljeet Kaur' to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Gurdaspur or at Chandigarh. As per law, only the Court which has passed the decree can dispose of such application, therefore, there is no reason to transfer the application in question to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Gurdaspur or at Chandigarh. The application is dismissed accordingly. However, the trial Court is directed to decide the application in question expeditiously as per law.
