H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) It is contended that there is a dispute regarding land property between the petitioners and private respondents No. 6 to 15 and for that reason such respondents had given beatings to petitioner No.2 Ram Karan and son of the petitioners on 18.4.2017, as well as on 20.4.2017. The matter was duly reported to the police but police had not taken any action.

The petition is disposed of with a direction to Superintendent of Police, Ambala - respondent No.3, to look into the grievances of the petitioners as contained in representations Annexure P-6 to P-8 and then to take necessary action warranted by the facts and circumstances, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
