(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.547 dated 11.07.2017 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 120-B, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 506 IPC at Police Station Civil Lines, Karnal, on the basis of compromise dated 23.08.2017 (Annexure P-2).
Pursuant to the order dated 26.10.2017 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 06.11.2017 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Karnal has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.779 dated 08.11.2017 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Karnal vide letter No.16868 dated 08.11.2017.
According to the report, the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class is satisfied that compromise entered into between the parties is genuine, Ravinder Singh 2017.11.15 16:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document voluntary, and out of their free will and without any pressure. Considering the report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class dated
-2CRM-M-40079 of 2017 08.11.2017 and the fact that the compromise will bring harmony in relations between the parties, FIR No.547 dated 11.07.2017 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 120-B, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 506 IPC at Police Station Civil Lines, Karnal, is hereby quashed. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
