Keeping in view the averments made in the application, the same is allowed and the affidavit of petitioner No.1 is permitted to be taken on record.
CRM-M-20261-2020 Present petition has been filed by the petitioners with the prayer that the official respondents be directed to protect their life and liberty and not to harass the petitioners unnecessary as they have apprehension that the petitioners might be implicated in some false case. Notice of motion.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioners have a history of criminal cases registered against them and the present petition has been filed only to browbeat the police officials not to take required action in respect of FIRs which have already been registered against the petitioners.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners will be satisfied at this stage, in case the representation of the petitioners addressed to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka dated 01.07.2020 (Annexure P-3) is decided by the said authority in a time bound manner by passing an appropriate speaking order.
Learned counsel for the respondents raises no objection for the grant of the prayer as raised in the said representation. Without commenting upon the merits of the case or about the entitlement of the petitioners for the relief which has been claimed by them in the representation dated 01.07.2020 (Annexure P-3), the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3- the Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka to decide the representation dated 01.07.2020 (Annexure P-3) within a period of six weeks from the receipt of copy of this order.
