(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking a direction to respondent Nos. 2 & 3 to arrest the accused persons in case FIR No. 96 dated 20.08.2016 under Sections 363 & 366-A IPC registered at Police Station Sadar Shri Muktsar Sahib, and in case FIR No. 155 dated 04.10.2017 under Sections 3(1)(x) SC/ST Act and Section 506 IPC, registered at Police Station Sadar Shri Muktsar Sahib. Status report has been filed, in which it is submitted that under FIR No. 96 dated 20.08.2016 Jagmeet Singh @ Gyani son of Major Singh has eloped somewhere and is evading his arrest. Despite best efforts, the police have not been able to locate him and he has been declared as a proclaimed offender by an order dated 16.08.2017.
