The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to re-issue him passport.

The petitioner was issued passport on 09.01.2019 which is valid till 08.01.2029. Due to adverse police verification report on account of FIR No. 274 dated 17.05.2018, under Sections 148, 149, 323, 379B, 506 of IPC, registered against him at Police Station, Safidon, the passport authority directed him to surrender his passport. The petitioner surrendered his passport before passport authority. He has again applied for re-issuance of passport. The proceedings with respect to above-mentioned FIR are pending before trial Court.

On being confronted with Notification No. 570 dated 25.08.1993 issued by the Central Government, the petitioner seeks PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2024.04.29 04:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to approach trial court.

Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to petitioner to approach trial court. This Court is sanguine of the fact that trial court would decide application of the petitioner in terms of Notification No. 570 dated 25.08.1993 issued by the Central Government.
