(Oral) The present petition contains prayer for issuance of direction to the respondents to register FIR on the basis of complaint Annexure P-3, which according to the petitioner discloses cognizable offences. In view of the ratio of authority Sakiri Vasu vs. State of U.P. and others 2008 (1) RCR (Criminal) 392, the Magistrate has power under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C. to order police to register FIR. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is relegated to the said remedy.
