Aman Sharma v. Satender Kumar And ORS
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH
FAO-3568-2019 (O&M) Date of Decision: April 30, 2025 Aman Sharma .... Petitioner
Versus
Satender Kumar and others .... Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE NIDHI GUPTA Present: - None.
NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL)
1. The present appeal is of the year 2019 and notice has yet not been issued.
2. A perusal of the order sheet reveals that the matter has been adjourned since 2019 either on request of, or due to non-appearance of learned counsel for the appellant. On the last date of hearing i.e. 16.01.2023, none had appeared on behalf of the appellant. Accordingly, Registry was directed to inform learned counsel for the appellant.
3. Office report shows that learned counsel for the appellant has been duly informed, yet none appears on behalf of the appellant.
4. A bare reading of the above facts shows that the appellant has exhibited an utterly casual attitude in his pursuit of the present litigation. It is to be appreciated that very valuable public time of the Court has been expended in affording opportunities to the appellant in the interest of justice. On the other hand, the appellant has adopted an utterly causal and careless approach.
5. It is clear that neither the appellant nor his counsel is seriously interested in pursuing the present matter. Thus, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the same for non-prosecution. ARCHANA ARORA 2025.05.02 10:35 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
6. Ordered accordingly.
7. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of. April 30, 2025 ( NIDHI GUPTA ) archana JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned Yes/No Whether Reportable Yes/No ARCHANA ARORA 2025.05.02 10:35 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
