(Oral) The petitioner has some dispute with his co-sharers over property jointly held by them and as such apprehends threat to his life and liberty at the hands of respondents No.4 to 11 who are all co-sharers. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the private respondents had assaulted him on 10.3.2023, but the petitioner as of now has not chosen to take any action. It has also been informed that no civil litigation is pending between the parties.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the merits of the assertions made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot, to get the representation MOHAN SINGH 2023.05.01 15:51 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRWP-4123-2023 (O&M) - 2 - 2023:PHHC:061742 dated 25.04.2023 (Annexure P-2) examined qua the limited extent of the alleged threat perception of the petitioner in accordance with law.
