The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner Anita @ Anita Sharma, who is a complainant in FIR No.0174, dated 26.9.2016, Police Station PhaseI, Mohali, District Mohali, under Sections 406 and 420 of Indian Penal Code. The specific prayer made in the petition is for issuance of a direction to the Registry of this Court to transfer an amount of Rs.5 lakhs alongwith interest, which had been deposited by the accused at the time of grant of bail by this Court.

Learned State counsel has today passed on a copy of order dated 17.12.2018 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, SAS Nagar, Mohali, which is taken on record, as per which the matter has been amicably resolved amongst the parties and permission had been granted for compounding the offences PANKAJ KAKKAR 2022.08.05 17:15 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-41106-2018 (O&M) and the accused had been acquitted. It is also specifically recorded therein that an amount of Rs.5,39,264/- which had been deposited by the accused before the this Court at the time of granting bail, had been received by Anita Sharma (petitioner).
