NARESH KUMAR SANGHI, J.(ORAL) Mr.Madan Lal, Advocate, has put in appearance on behalfof private respondents and filed his power of attorney on their behalf, which is taken on record.
Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 482, Cr.P.C., is for the issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to protect lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 4 and 5. CRM-M-40131-2015 -2They further submit that respondent Nos.4 and 5 are not accepting their marriage and adamant to separate them from each other by resorting to illegal means. They further submit that in view of the imminent danger to their lives and liberty, they have already moved a representation (Annexure P-5) before respondent Nos.2 and 3, i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot and Station House Officer, Police Station, Sujanpur, District Pathankot.
Keeping in view the seriousness of the matter but without going into the validity of the marriage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot, to take action as warranted by law on the representation moved by the petitioners and in the meantime to issue necessary orders to ensure that no harm is caused to the lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 4 and 5.
