This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 92 dated 30.09.2017 under sections 61 of the Punjab Excise Act at Police Station Jhunir, District Mansa. Learned counsel for the State submits that pursuant to order dated 17.10.2017, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.
In view of the above, order dated 27.10.2017 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. Disposed of.
