On secret information, the police apprehended Dial Singh @ Sunny, Surinder Singh @ Sagar and Gurpreet Singh @ Kaka alongwith two motorcycles while Prabhjot Singh (petitioner herein) is alleged to have fled away from the spot.

CRM-M 4113/2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is 10+2 student and was not apprehended at the spot and he is not involved in any other case. It is further submitted that pursuant to the interim protection granted by this Court vide order dated 19.2.2016 petitioner has joined investigation and nothing is to be recovered from him.

The said factual position is not disputed by the learned State counsel.

In this view of the matter, present petition is allowed and interim protection granted vide order dated 19.2.2016 is made absolute. Disposed of.
