LISA GILL, J. (Oral) The petitioner was aggrieved as despite registration of FIR No. 198 dated 04.11.2016 under Sections 498-A, 342, 506, 120-B IPC at Police Station City Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran, no action had been taken by the police authorities.

It is submitted that earlier cancellation report had been filed by the Investigating Agency but the same was not accepted by the learned court of competent jurisdiction on 06.09.2017. Thereafter, final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has been presented against four of the accused as mentioned in para 4 of this petition. All of them are being proceeded against. The accused Himansu Sharma son of Subhash Chander Sharma (Devar) has been found innocent.

Crl. Misc. No. M-40294 of 2017 [ 2 ] In this view of the matter learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this petition at this stage with liberty to the petitioner to avail remedy/remedies as may be available to her in respect to any remaining grievance.
