It is averred that her husband is residing in Dubai and one Lakhwinder Masih, a resident of the same village is repeatedly harassing her with obscene gestures and also inflicted injuries on her person on one occasion. She is stated to have filed a representation(P-1) in this regard on 15.9.2015 before SSP Gurdaspur.

Prayer in the present petition is for directing the police authorities to take appropriate action against said accused Lakhwinder Masih.

After hearing learned counsel, this Court is not inclined to accept the prayer. It is hoped that proper action would be taken by the police authorities on the representation moved by the petitioner and even otherwise the petitioner is not remediless as per provision of Cr.PC.

Dismissed.
