The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.33 dated 07.07.2017 registered under Sections 376 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Kalanaur, District Gurdaspur and all subsequent proceedings arising out of the said FIR.

Learned counsel for the State has pointed out that as per the E-Court Official Website of the District Courts, Gurdaspur, the petitioner in the present case has since been acquitted and in view thereof the present petition has been rendered infructuous.
