By way of present petition filed under Articles 226 of Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents No.2 and 3 not to harass the petitioner at the instance of respondents No.4-7 and to protect her life and liberty.

Learned State counsel on instructions from SI Naresh Pal, Police Station Ismailabad, Kurukshetra submits that in pursuance to representation dated 25.04.2023 (Annexure P-2, Page-9) submitted by petitioner, her statement has been recorded wherein she submits that at this stage she does not require any kind of protection as there is no threat perception to her from the private respondents as she is living alone in a rented accommodation.

In view thereof, learned counsel for petitioner submits that he does not press the present petition.
