Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking quashing of F.I.R No. 12 dated 6.1.2013 registered under Sections 306/34 IPC at Police Station, Phillaur, District, Jalandhar and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise. Learned State counsel submits that a cancellation report has been prepared and presented before the competent court of jurisdiction. However, re-investigation has been ordered. On instructions from ASIPrithi Raj, he submits that investigation shall be completed at the earliest, in any case not later than one month and fresh report shall be filed before the court.

In view of above, no further direction is necessary. Disposed of.

Learned counsel for the petitioners shall, however, be at liberty to file afresh if any cause of action survives. (Rajan Gupta) Judge May 07, 2015 BB
