(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in a case arising out of FIR No.135 dated 11.10.2016, registered at Police Station City Batala, District Gurdaspur, who has been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 498-A IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 18.11.2016, the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre to enable the parties to resolve the disputes. As per report of the mediator dated 03.02.2017, the parties have settled their disputes by way of Naresh Kumar 2017.03.16 09:01 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh settlement/compromise dated 03.02.2017 .

CRM-M-41339-2016 -2In view of the above-said fact, order dated 18.11.2016, passed by this Court whereby the ad-interim anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the conditions as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
