Present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for alleged willful disobedience of order dated 09.01.2023 passed in CWP-6516-2022. 2.
The operative portion of order dated 09.01.2023 passed in CWP6516-2022 reads as under : " 4.
So far as the petitioner No.1 is concerned, by filing status report, on affidavit, dated 12.10.2022, it has been stated by respondents that in case the petitioner No.1 files the necessary application, under Rule 12 (4) of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Rules, 1964, as applicable to the State of Haryana, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.

For ensuring that the ends of justice are not defeated, it is also deemed imperative to order that till a decision on the above application(s) are made by the Competent Authority, thereupto the order of eviction, as made in respect of the disputed lands, may not be enforced."

Present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner, who was respondent No.6 in CWP-6516-2022.

Learned State counsel has pointed out that the representation of both the writ petitioners in CWP-6516-2022 have since been decided and they have been found entitled and their claim has been approved. 5.
In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt petition and the same is disposed off. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
