The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking direction to the respondent authorities to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos.6 to 9. 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner would be contended and satisfied in case his representation dated 01.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) be decided in a time bound manner. 3.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Amandeep Singh Samra, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. 5.

In view of the above limited prayer made and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the respondent No.3-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar is directed to decide the representation dated 01.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) within a period of 15 days by passing a speaking order in accordance with law. 6.
