In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner as respondent No. 4 is falsely impleading him in FIR No. 72 dated 21.05.2017 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 399 and 402 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act at Police Station Haibowal, Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the very outset contends that the purpose of the instant petition would be achieved, if respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, is directed to decide the representation dated 28.09.2017 (Annexure P-3), moved by the petitioner. 3.

In view of the above, respondent No. 2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, is directed to look into the matter and decide the representation Annexure P-3, moved by the petitioner, in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to him, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
