(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to protect the lives and personal liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.3 and 4 and also directing them not to interfere in the lives and liberty of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana (Rural), is directed to look into the matter, in a time-bound manner.

There is no representation moved on behalf of the petitioners to any of the police authorities. Therefore, instant petition is liable to be dismissed.
