***** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the official respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and not to interfere in their peaceful life at the behest of private respondents and other relatives.
The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners in their sound mind and senses have started to live together. The petitioner No.1-Kuldeep Singh is unmarried whereas the petitioner No.2Sunita is a married lady wedded to respondent No.4-Parladh with a minor child. He contends that because of this situation and a matrimonial dispute, which is pending, they face a threat to their lives at the hands of the private respondents.

Mr. Kirat Singh Sidhu, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf respondents No.1 to 3 and submits that the statements of both the petitioners have been recorded on 30.05.2022 and they have submitted that they do not need any protection as they do not face any threat to their lives from any one and a rojnamcha vide G.D. No.031 dated 30.05.2022 has been recorded in this regard.
In this view of the matter, no orders are required to be passed in this case. Disposed of.
