(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No49 dated 12.09.2017 under Sections 326/324/323/148 and 149 IPC, at Police Station Kotli, Surat Malhi, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur.

Learned counsel for the State submits that pursuant to order dated October 31, 2017, petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, order dated October 31, 2017, is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
