**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (ORAL) During the course of arguments, it appears that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and the case is fixed for defence evidence and arguments. The trial has been adjourned on number of occasions for re-construction of documents, which were lost. On 27.07.2022, a report from the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ludhiana was received in compliance of order dated 11.07.2022 to the effect that all the parties to the trial have been given opportunities for making written objections, if any, in respect of using statement of PW-2 Mandeep Kaur for the purpose of the trial.

Today, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner does not wish to file any objection to the statement ANITA DEVI 2022.08.26 11:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M No.23036 of 2022 -2of PW-2 Mandeep Kaur, which has been re-constituted/ reconstructed. Petitioner also does not wish to lead any evidence in defence.

Learned State counsel informs the Court that 30.08.2022 is the date fixed before the trial Court. In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, it would be appropriate to direct the trial Court to conclude the trial forthwith either on the date fixed or soon thereafter without adjourning the case unnecessarily. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
