The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking directions to the respondents to issue valid travel documents to travel back to India. 2.

The petitioner has been implicated in FIR No.49 dated 21.03.2003, under Sections 148, 149, 323, 325 and 506 of IPC at Police Station Barara, District Ambala. The petitioner has been declared proclaimed offender. The petitioner wants to join criminal proceedings and at present, he is residing in Italy. The passport of the petitioner expired on 04.09.2022.

Learned counsel for respondents No.1 and 2 submits that the petitioner may apply for the emergency travel document. If petitioner applies for the emergency travel documents, the passport authority would ANJU GOEL 2023.10.16 17:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
