***** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The petitioner seeks grant of the anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in a case bearing FIR No.06 dated 12.02.2022 under Sections 324, 323, 148, 149 (Section 326 IPC added later on) registered with Police Station Amir Khas, District Fazilka.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 26.05.2022 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

The learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Swaran Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation in terms of the order dated 26.05.2022 and is not required for custodial interrogation. In this view of the matter, interim order dated 26.05.2022 is made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

The petition stands disposed of.
