Present second petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of bail pending trial to the petitioner in FIR No.229 dated 25.12.2021, under Sections 302 & 364 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station, Basti Jodhewal, District Ludhiana, Punjab. 2.

After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to accept the prayer, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that present petition be disposed off with liberty to approach learned trial Court for seeking bail pending trial in view of the fact that 17 prosecution witnesses stand examined, after rejection of his bail application on 16.02.2023 (P-6).
