This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of an appropriate writ, order, or direction, particularly in the nature of mandamus, directing respondents No. 1 to 4 to provide protection to the life, liberty, and dignity of the petitioner, as well as protection of her property, at the hands of private respondents No. 5 to 8, and to take appropriate action against them with a further prayer that respondents No. 1 to 4 be directed to initiate appropriate legal action against the private respondents, and that respondent No. 2 be directed to decide the representation dated 26.03.2026 (Annexure P-7) in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 26.03.2026 (Annexure P-7) to respondent No.2- Director General of Police, Punjab Police, Headquarters, RENU RAWAT 2026.04.08 09.08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CRWP-3838-2026 Sector-9, Chandigarh but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2- Director General of Police, Punjab Police, Headquarters, Sector-9, Chandigarh to look into his representation/complaint and take appropriate steps at the earliest.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Director General of Police, Punjab Police, Headquarters, Sector-9, Chandigarh to consider and decide the representation 26.03.2026 (Annexure P-7) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
