Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 120 dated 06.08.2013 registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 & 120B IPC at Police Station Maqsudan, district Jalandhar.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Amarjeet Singh, who is present in court, submits that investigation in the case is still pending and present petition is not maintainable at this stage. According to him, some of the accused are yet to be arrested.

It is inexplicable how present petition has been preferred at the stage when investigation pursuant to FIR is pending.

Under the circumstances, present petition is dismissed at this stage.

Petitioners shall, however, be at liberty to file afresh after conclusion of investigation.
