Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the order dated 23.03.2006, rejecting the claim of the petitioner for being promoted as Tehsildar.

Learned State counsel states that the claim of the petitioner was duly considered, however having not fulfilled the required conditions of having worked as Naib Tehsildar for 5 years as on date of holding of the DPC was not promoted, while on the previous occasion the service record being not upto the mark was ignored by the DPC. 3.
