**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J This is a petition seeking transfer of the trial in criminal case No. 10/7.4.2011, B.T. No. 93 dated 14.9.2017 and FIR No. 236 dated 1.9.2015 registered at Police Station City, Sangrur under Sections 498-A, 406, 323 IPC.

Vide order dated 1.11.2017, the petitioner was directed to approach Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur with respect to threat to her life and liberty and the SSP was directed to provide necessary protection to the petitioner to enable her to appear in the trial Court on 13.11.2017 for her cross-examination. Her examination-in-chief had already been recorded. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the cross-examination could not be completed on the previous dates. Crl. Misc. No. M-40180 of 2017 -2visit Sangrur again and again.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur would provide necessary protection to the petitioner when she appears in the Court on 17.8.2018. The petitioner would appear on time. The defence counsel representing the accused would also appear in Court on time so that the cross-examination is completed on the date fixed. The petition is disposed of.
