The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to issue him passport.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab submits that the petitioner was involved in 10 FIRs. He was convicted vide judgment dated 13.05.2022 passed by the trial Court and released on probation. He has been further convicted vide judgment dated 25.08.2023 passed by trial Court and awarded sentence of 02 years under Punjab Excise Act, 1914.
